Dr. O’Shell

Dr. O’Shell grew up in Walled Lake, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University earning her Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her OBGYN residency locally at Providence Hospital in Southfield. Dr. O’Shell joined Associated Obstetrics and Gynecology in September 2020.

She feels fortunate to be able to provide comprehensive care to women, ranging from normal/high-risk pregnancies and preventative gynecologic care to the care of postpartum depression, abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal pap smears, birth control counseling, vaginal infections, hormone replacement therapy, and more. Dr. O’Shell is trained in minimally invasive gynecologic, pelvic and robotic surgery and is certified in da Vinci robotic surgery. She loves that this specialty allows her to follow her patients through all stages of life, beginning with adolescence, transitioning for many into pregnancy, then through mid-life, and ultimately through menopause.

Dr. O’Shell is married to her husband Chad. They have a 6-year-old dog, a boxer known as “Chip”, and have a little boy on the way, arriving June 2021.
